'SeUSSICAL the MUSICAL'

 

CLAUDIA VICKERS 

Age 17 yrs.

I am an energetic performer and I have been singing, dancing and acting from a very young age. I’m a bright, bubbly person that never stops smiling.  

Singing: I gained a choral scholarship at Lincoln Minster School and have been a member of The Lincoln Cathedral Choir form 2000-2006. I have also been classically trained.

  • July 2005-Choir recorded 1st C.D “Hail Mary”

May 2005-One of eleven choristers selected to sing for Sir Ewan and Lady Harper at their Ruby wedding anniversary celebrations at Lamberth Palace, London.

  • November 2005-BBC T.V and Radio 3 recorded “Songs of Praise”
  • September 2006-The Cathedral Choir sang as backing for “Aled Jones” and “G4” concert.
  • December 2006-BBC T.V and Radio 3 recorded “Songs of Praise” featuring “Hayley Westenra”

I then moved onto learning the musical theatre side of singing with Liz Heathrington -Arts Education.     

  • December 2007-performed as a solo singer with the company ‘Much Loved Productions’ and The British Philharmonic Concert Orchestra at The New Hull Theatre and The Forum Theatre in Middlesborough. Directed by, Jeremy Peaker.

From 1995 to present day I’ve been dancing at Staples School of Dance and Drama. Disciplines: Ballet, Modern, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary & point work(R.A.D&I.S.T.D) Mod & Tap-Advanced 2. Ballet RAD-Advanced 1. Ballet ISTD-Advanced 1.  

Northern Ballet summer course-2007

Acting: Played Juliet in ‘Romeo & Juliet’. ‘Betrayal’ by Harold Pinter at Drill Hall Lincoln

Musical Theatre: Directions Theatre Arts: Chesterfield &  The Mob: Retford
2006-Performed in the musical “Oliver” and solo singer “A Night at the Musicals” both at the Pomegranate Theatre Chesterfield.
